We are partnering with Lspirg Waterloo and the WLU Centre for Women and Trans People this RAD WEEK 2018, to bring you this awesome event!

Could you draw and label a clitoris? Ever wonder why you hear “penis and vagina” much more than “clitoris”? Do you know why the clitoris is often excluded from sex organ diagrams? Who in society knows more about the clitoris than others?

Come learn about this not-so-little pleasure organ and how it is often ignored in society. To anyone with or without a clitoris, who cares about bodily autonomy, sex, gender or pleasure: come get cliterate!

Join LSPIRG’s Volunteer and Community Engagement Waterloo Director, Karly Rath, as she shares what she learned from interviewing women and trans people about their clitoris during her Master’s research and folks from Sexual Health Options, Resources & Education – SHORE Centre who will discuss the importance of pleasure-oriented, inclusive sex ed in the face of the Ontario curriculum repeal.

It will be an evening of art, learning, genitals and resistance. People from within and outside of the Laurier community are welcome.

For questions and accessibility needs, please contact info@lspirg.org. More details will be posted soon.
