Our Grand Opening!
On April 21st we celebrated our Grand Opening at our new location and the official launch of our new name: Sexual Health Options, Resources & Education Centre. We were joined by over 90 guests including local politicians, community partners, donors, volunteers and supporters.
Carol Leaman, CEO of Axonify and former Planned Parenthood board member, was our guest speaker and she shared these words of encouragement:
“It’s time that all of us – business leaders, donors, politicians and important voices in the community – have the courage to be a strong voice for choice in Waterloo Region. We don’t need to be afraid anymore. We can proudly – and vocally – stand up for choice and support SHORE Centre.”
